Peli™ Large Cases

The Large range of Peli Cases. Starting with the 1600 formerly the "King Pelicase" this was once the largest size available. The large cases now range from 1600 to 1780, this is a weapons case which will take up to 8 AK47s or similar.

The clips below were filmed by Hot under the Collar Productions who used Peli Cases to protect their filming and audio equipment.

Vital camera gear was safely transported in Peli cases by the crew filming what must be the most extreme sporting event of 2011 - the Antarctic Ice Marathon.

The Antarctic Ice Marathon is the southernmost marathon on earth, just a few hundred miles from the South Pole and is a unique opportunity for athletes to complete a formidable and challenging marathon.

Dave Painter from the film crew HUTC (Hot Under The Collar Productions) explained "We knew that filming in the Antarctic was going to be a challenge. Ensuring we had the right equipment was crucial for the shoot and getting it there in pristine condition was fundamental, so we simply choose the best. Our Peli cases took care of the equipment, we just needed to look after ourselves. The harsh conditions were no match for the tough waterproof cases and the bright yellow small case (1060) was perfect for keeping our recording media; easily visible amongst the other luggage. Peli cases are an integral part of our shooting kit both in the UK and overseas, but for environments as tough as the Antarctic there is simply no alternative!"
